VELS University, Chennai announced admission for full time and part time Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program offered in the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Basic Sciences, Computing Sciences, Languages, Management Studies & Commerce, Engineering and Law for the session 2016.
Eligibility Criteria for VELS University:
# For Full Time Ph.D Program: Candidates who have qualified for masters degree with not less than a second class or as equivalent grade and in the case of examination where classification does not exist, a minimum of 50% of marks in the qualifying examination in the subjects in the faculties of Arts, Science, Fine Arts, Indian and other languages, Management, Commerce, Engineering, Para Medical Sciences etc., and CA, CFA, ACS or ICWA degree are eligible.
# For Part Time Ph.D Program: Any citizen of India irrespective of his/her employment status, and working within Tamilnadu who wishes to pursue doctoral research is eligible.
