North-Eastern Hill University announced admission for Master of Arts (M.A), Master of Science (M.Sc), Master of Commerce (M.Com), Master of Library & Information Science (M.LISc.), Master of Education (M.Ed), Master of Law (LL.M), Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programs at North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong for the session 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for NEHU, Shillong:

For LL.M Program: Candidates must have secured 55% (for General candidates) and 50% (for SC/ST candidates in LL.B. or equivalent examination.
Candidate seeking admission for M.Ed program should have obtained at least 50% marks equivalent grade in B.Ed or B.A. B.Ed, B.Sc.B.Ed or D.El.Ed with an undergraduate degree (with 50% marks in each).
Candidates with atleast 55% marks or with a minimum of ‘B’ grade (CGPA) in the 7- point UGC scale at the Master’s degree level or equivalent in the same or cognate subject will be eligible for admission to the M.Phil program.

For masters programs: Tuesday, July 12, 2016.
For LL.M program: Saturday, August 13, 2016.
For masters programs: Friday, September 16, 2016.
