I ws actlly waitin for des movie to b released since da tym i had seen its promo flashin da "AAHUN AAHUN" sng....nd till date i m aahun-aahuing all da day alng...i jus cnt get enough of aahun-aahun nd yeh dooriyan.....
Okay to get serious...i m postin my reviews on LAK..After da super duper blockbuster hit of jab we met, da crowd ws jus waiting for des saif ali hme production , directed by imtiaz ali...Imtiaz ali has given us the best hits ryt frm socha na tha to jab we met ("socha na tha ",ki jab v met wud create history nation over , nd i bet der cn b no muvi whch cn justify da geet-aditya love stry s beautifully s imtiaz ali s portrayd in JWM eva in des decade)...
As far s i talk abt LAK ,i opine dat da muvi is good...2 hrs 15 mins total tp muvi...wer u will enjoy da love stry s well s da melodious sngs dat pritam has experimented des tym...smtg realli diff...espclly,aahun -aahun...LAK as da name suggests depicts a typical love stry agn..Most of our bollywood love stries , rely on witty repartee between two lovers and then drop dem in reasonably cute situations in lush backdrops...trying to have perfect chemistry thru da conversations in der films..and to realize dat their ambition is simply admirable..they can capture genuine romance not jus amng a set of young , middle class indians on intercity trains bt globe trotting 30+ cosmopolitian Indians who r s comfortable in hyde park s well s lodhi road...
If i talk abt da jai nd meera love stry , well dat ws pretty okay okay kinda...yeah quite practically showcased...London , wer des jai nd meera meet for da first tym in a party....nd den frm der begins der love stry..soon realizin dy fall for each oder...bt dey hav der independent careers in der respective different countries...so r da lovers of des era for whm der career is mre a priority den love...jai nd meera r 2days lovers who blive in practicality,,,dy wisely prefer to break up happily by throwin a breakup party rather den departin wid a broken heart...nd wisely depart frm each oder cz long distance relationships r too hard to maintain accordin to der perception...okay , quite agreed to wad imtiaz ali tried sayin in aaj's love stry...
And talkin abt kal's lve stry , playd by veer singh nd harleen kaur....i love dat da mst...da lve stry ws jus too simple...bt elegant....woh kal ka delhi...harleen lyk evry oder shy gurl...veer , a passionate lover...da guy follwin da gurl everywer...she too strts fallin for him...bt cnt go agnst da family boundaries...nd dey talk wd ech oder only thru der eyes...simply no dialouges btw dem in da entire muvi...it ws indeed splendid..veer who cn go ny miles for his love...nd da dialouge dat actlly captivatd me "MAIN PRATIYGA LETA HUN,KI IS JANAM MAIN TU SIRF MERI HOGI HARLEEN AUR AGLE HAR JANAM MAIN, AUR AGLE JANAM MAIN JO BHI TUMHARA NAAM HOGA..."...OHH DAT WS SO ROMANTIC...endly da sng dat veer sings..."RABBA MERE DIN YA NA DHALE...WOH JO MUJHE KHWAAB MAIN MILE, USSE TU LAGA DE AB GALE...TENU DIL DA VAASTA."...finally pays off....nd veer actlly goes thru evrythn to get his harleen...aur munda kudi nu apne ghar vich successfully bhage ke le jiyaasi....
Lastly to conclude, i luvd da editin...da way aaj nd kal 's love stry ws linkd up beautifully...rishi kapoor rockd...luvd his part da mst..a simple elegant mssg he tries to give frm des muvi...dat love is da most divine feelin...der is ntng mre superficial den love in ds wrld..nd if u hav eva lovd sm1 wid ur true heart , u r surely well deservd to get ur true love...its rightly said "SACCHA HO DIL TOH,SAU MUSHKILE HO , ZUKTA NASEEBA PAAV MAIN.(ohh jus luv des line frm da track teri ore frm singh is king )...

overall da muvi ws worth a watch once....bt if u wd cmpare imtiaz's direction wid JVM nd SNT...u will b a lil disappointd wid LAK...da muvi had those impeccable sngs dat will keep bzzin arnd in ur mind...nd da veer nd harleen part..whch is jus too innocently captivatd...rahul khanna is totally wstd in da muvi...he could hav dne a betta role..he is wrth mre den da creepy role he ws offerd...well i wsnt too happy wid jai nd meera's love stry,tryin to shwcase todays genre love..bt i dnt agree to dat...ofcourse der r still ppl in 2days arena who r s passiaonate nd aggressively in love s veer singh..so its nt jus kal bt even aaj's youngsters who blivs dat love is God...dey worship love...nd blivs dat u cn find ur ultimate solace in ur true love ..!!!...so i ws a lil disappointd wid imtiaz in jai nd meera's part...dat today's genre dnt unds da real meanin of love..dats nt true indeed !!!
