Outsourcing - its about business

The fact is offshore outsourcing has nothing to do with the philosophy of free market economics, and everything to do with making the best use of available business opportunities-both for Indian & world companies.
We have seen Indians on this site attempting to justify outsourcing on the grounds of free trade, globalization etc. This makes them unnecessarily defensive about offshoring-for no reason.
Indian ‘s run an outsourcing company in Australia. They regularly pick up projects in Australia and send them offshore-to India, of course.
A few Australian programmers may lose their jobs in the process. Indian’s offer no apologies-its nothing personal, just business. So long as there is a client for Indian’s in Australia, theirbusiness will be on, no way anyone can stop them.
But this has nothing to do with free markets and other globalization crap. Indian’ssaw an opportunity and moved in, as did their fellow outsourcers from India and other countries. The same logic applies to their Australian clients, who see advantage in doing business with Indian’s.
In this business, they ask for no favors and offer none.
