OPTIMA is an All-INDIA Technical Symposium on Industrial Engineering organized by Department of Industrial Engineering & Management, IIT Kharagpur . With participation from undergraduate and post-graduate students from colleges all over India, OPTIMA provides an excellent platform for confluence of academicians, budding engineers and managers, scholars, corporate giants and experienced faculty of IIT Kharagpur.
Inspired by the tremendous enthusiasm received during OPTIMA 2007, the Department has planned to hold OPTIMA 2008 during March 7th-9th, 2008 and cordially invites you to be a part of it.
Eight events are planned for OPTIMA 2008. The events aim at showcasing the technical and innovative prowess inherent in today\'s youth, providing them with an opportunity to refine their ideas and hone their skills. OPTIMA also promises to play host to luminaries known for their accomplishments in related fields.
OPTIMA will provide ample opportunity for a student to reach out to a large community from diverse backgrounds united by a passion for innovation and excellence.
