We are two students who want to research the positive and negative effects of merging two subsidiaries together and making them one legal entity. Does anyone know of any prior research done on the subject? or know any companies who don't use subsidiaries after acquisitions/mergers/fusions?
What would be the correct namn for this? Mergers, acquisition och fusions are all a broad term used from before the company is bought. We want to research the effects of merging together two companies inside the same corporate group into one. For example a corporation can have many different subsidaries in one country and decide to merge all of them into one legal entity for that country.
