Older Workers are being affected by the economy and are also more interested in a home business or internet marketing venture. They have the intention to build for a better retirement or increase what they do have.
The article, in the Small Business Review speaks about how small businesses are having to look to Older Workers to fill their recruiting requirements since the younger prospects are minimal due to a tight labor market.
However, I believe that the Older Worker possesses skills that set them apart and they can really provide the staying qualities that you are looking for in your team. They understand what hard work is and how to make things happen from all the experience in life they have endured in their first careers. They are known to set records and are driven by their own abilities to succeed.
Older workers over 50 are taking the lead in home business and can be shown in this example of a success story about a lady who is the grandmother of 6 children and on her way to retirement in 3 years. She came into the company and began working, really to help others with benefits as she would come across them, but then she got excited about the compensation plan and eventually reached her first promotion.
