NTPC net Rises 7%, Auctions Downward Marginally

State-run power generator NTPC accounted single-digit growth in income and minor decline in profits during the quarter ended December expanded its two-year run of muted earnings’ expansion. The corporation accounted a seven per cent year-on-year enlarges in its consolidated net income in the quarter to Rs 3,074 crore beside Rs 2,861 crore previous years. The net auctions were downward 0.2 per cent y-o-y to Rs 18,739 crore. The NTPC has accounted negative earnings growth in three quarters.
