Unique identification project was initially conceived by the Planning Commission as an initiative that would provide identification for each resident across the country and would be used primarily as the basis for efficient delivery of welfare services. It would also act as a tool for effective monitoring of various programs and schemes of the Government.

The UIDAI incorporation may finally bring some order to the chaos , rampant amidst the masses of our country.
Some of UIDAI’s possible uses may direct to :
1. Curbing crime at the grassroots level so that it doesn’t escalate.
2. A database that is so ever , dynamic that it will have to employ thousands to maintain it ; a sponge for unemployment.
3. A Referendum System may finally come it place ; as our country may finally be more direct in Democracy.
4. The impoverished may be aided directly.
5. Petty theft offenders may be let out on parole , giving them a chance at improvement ; vis-à-vis keeping an eye on them.
6. The hassle of hefty paperwork will be lightened as people wouldn’t have to submit and wait for the Babus to clear their nostrils first and then sign it.
7. Banks may monitor their assets more vividly.
8. A stepping stone to DNA registry in future.
9. You wouldn’t have to search for that elusive Ration card everytime you have to avail legality.
10. All other IDs may be constricted into this in future ,
But all we can do is hope and do all we can at our perusal. A honest citizen in a country , an earnest worker on the factory floor , an revolutionary among deadpans is all the country needs right now as a stepping stone to launch back into the era when India was called SONE KI CHIDIYA (Golden Bird)
