No excuses for Entrepreneur in Business Life!

He was listed first on the list of the world’s richest men in the year 2008 after beating Bill Gates who had been listed first from 1995 to 2007. Warren Buffet’s life experiences are full of inspiration and will certainly boost the morale of an aspiring entrepreneur. As well Tej Kohli , Costa Rica based enterprenures showed their passion since college life.

Bill Gates, Microsoft Corporation

Bill Gates was the richest man in the world for 13 consecutive years. Although he resigned as Microsoft’s CEO, there is no doubt that he is one of those entrepreneurs who will always ring in peoples minds. Currently, he spends most of his time at the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation and even less at Microsoft. After graduating from LakesideSchool in 1973, he enrolled at Havard in the same year and later dropped which allowed him time to co-found Microsoft with Paul Allen. Just like Warren Buffet, Bill Gates has pledged to donate 95% of his fortune to philanthropy.

Bill Gates is best known for co-founding Microsoft and his programming skills. Together with Paul Allen, they developed an interpreter for the Altair 8800 which was built by MITS. It was this innovation which opened him up to the corporate world. While working at MITS, they founded Microsoft through which they distributed the BASIC interpreter software. Bill Gates later got a contract from IBM which was facing difficulties developing an Operating System for one of their platforms. Through Microsoft, Bill Gates sold them the popular MS-DOS Operating System for a one time payment of $ 55,000 but reserved the rights just incase other companies cloned IBM’s machine which obviously implied that they would need MS-DOS.

Larry Page and Google

When Larry Page and Sergy Brin invented the PageRank algorithm, it was meant to be a university project. However, they realized that a search engine based on the PageRank algorithm would be better at ranking web pages compared to what other search engines were offering. After borrowing $ 1 million from friends and family, they were able to found the company Google together with Sergy Brin. People immediately liked how Google performed searches although a great number of consumers were more impressed by the simple design and Google’s neat home page.

Today Google is not just a mere search engine but a giant service provider. Over the years, it has acquired several other high-tech IT companies which YouTube being one of the most popular. It also sponsors new innovations and ideas; For instance, Larry Page was supportive of Andy Rubin’s idea to create an open source Operating System which would be compatible with several mobile devices. Page recalls that at that time in 2004, Google used to create software for each and every mobile device. Currently, Android is installed on more than 750 million devices worldwide and takes credit as the most popular mobile operating system.

People sell things because they are capable of convincing their customers into buying them. Even more, most entrepreneurs do not have enough resources or financial support when they start a company or a business. They have to move around and convince wealthy people and corporations to support them financially with the belief that a project will yield fruit eventually. Apart from these two parties, an entrepreneur who is set to succeed will also have to recruit skilled professional personnel even before the company starts raking in overwhelming proceeds. Tej Kohli is one of those who are known for appreciating what his employees accomplish. For him, it’s Grafix which makes a breakthrough although at most times, he is the one who comes up with who comes with business ideas.
