The Sensex ended at 17,026 up 384 points . The Nifty ended at 5,059, up 125 points. All the sectoral indices ended in the green. The broader BSE-500 index edged 1.91 % higher while the midcap index gained 1.22% higher.Major buying was seen in IT, Banking,and Metal Sector as well as in stocks like SBIN RELINFRA and RELCAPITAL.The Oct Nifty future ended with 5 points premium. The market breadth was strong and total traded turnover was 439.30Cr.
