Markets corrected after three days of strong rally and ended below the 16K level in the midst of huge volatility. Selling was seen in metals, banking, oil & gas and auto stocks. The Sensex closed at 15,922 down 120 points after trading in the range of 16,141 – 15,892. The Nifty shut at 4,757 down 35 points or 0.7% after hitting a low of 4,748. The breadth was negative and the markets reported total turnover Rs 99,845 cr.
