The Sensex closed at 17,0452 down 50 points after trading in the range of 17,130-17,031. Nifty shut at 5,101 down 22 point after trading in the range of 5,131- 5,094. The Small cap and Mid cap indices were also down by 0.72% and 0.71% respectively. The breadth however remained negative and the markets turnover recorded at Rs 73,021Cr. The Nifty Mar Future ended with 8.5 points discount.
