Market closed in negative for second consecutive day as we saw profit booking in Sectors like It, FMCG & Oil & Gas. We saw buying in Specific Midcap & Smallcap stocks like Hanung Toys up 7.17%, Electrosteel Casting up by 3.82%, Orient Paper up by 2.94% & Gtl Infra up by 1.95%. Market was facing Resistance at 5300 mark & finally closed at 5249 down by 13 points, Before making an intraday High of 5294 and Low of 5235. The benchmark index Sensex closed at 17,528 down 62 points before making an intraday high of 17,699 & low of 17,489. Among the broader indices - the BSE Midcap Index was up by .25% and Smallcap was up by .49%. Today's market breadth was positive and Total Turnover was at 83,940Cr.
