The markets opened flat and reacted positive to the credit policy but ended with modest gains. All the major sectoral indices ended in green, Auto and Reality being the highest gainers. The Sensex closed at 18,077 up 57 points after trading in the ange of 18,149-17,998. Nifty was at 5,430 up 12 points after making an intraday high of 5,450.
