The markets showed a spectacular recovery after witnessing profit booking in the yesterday's session and ended on a strong note. All the major sectoral indices ended on a strong note Oil & Gas and Metal counters being the highest gainers. The Sensex closed at 19,594 up 177 points and the Nifty was at 5,885 up 56 points after making an intra-day high of 5,898.
