ABOUT UNIVERSITY
Change Training Consultants Ltd. was established in 1987 and is recognised as the leading public sector training specialist. They provide training and e-learning to a range of public sector organisations throughout New Zealand.
Their key offerings include:
Online Programmes:
Their online programmes cover essential knowledge required for work in the public sector and are delivered in conjunction with a number of leading national polytechnics. Currently they provide programmes in Public Sector Knowledge and New Zealand Diploma in Business.
Workshops:
Their workshops consist of face-to-face courses and in-house training. Face-to-Face public sector short courses feature interactive engagement with colleagues from across the sector as part of the learning. These courses are complemented by customised In-House courses designed to the specific training needs of your agency.
HISTORY
Change Training has been providing services to the public sector for 20 years. Their experience spans from the state sector reforms in the mid 1980s through to the present day. They have provided short courses and seminars of interest to people working in the core public service, wider state sector, and local government sectors.
NEW DIRECTIONS
Change Training became a registered 'Private Training Establishment' and gained accreditation through NZQA in 2001. They began providing online courses covering Unit Standards developed by the Public Sector Training Organisation. These courses are delivered using web-based software.
Increasing demand for these online courses led them to forge arrangements with selected Tertiary Institutes throughout New Zealand.
THE FUTURE
Change Training will continue to provide the public sector with face-to-face training and consulting services. In addition they have the capability to provide e-learning services such as online course development. They are constantly developing their services and are offering 'blended courses', a combination of on-line and face-to-face courses. These offer the benefits of self-paced learning combined with interaction within your work environment.
