My Intro

With what you get, you can make a living.
What you give however makes a life

None will ever disagree to the above quote. I am no exception. Life to me is an adventure. You get many opportunities to enjoy it but there are equal risks involved. As a 19 year old, I feel that life is to be lived at its fullest. This probably shows my vision in life. I do not believe in the philosophy that one should live life as it comes. I think without a particular vision one cannot fulfill one?s goals in life. One will achieve only what life has in store for him/her. I feel by having a vision one can actually change his/her life.

A child thrives when he is encouraged, helped and guided in a wise and caring atmosphere, and such was my upbringing. I was constantly encouraged to be very dedicated at my work. Hence, today I can safely say that I give my 100% at every thing I do. It is said that-?There is no substitute to hard work?. Also to add to that I should say that there is no substitute reward for the same. The only reward that one will get is success. My dedication towards work is one thing I am proud of.

One very influential quality that I possess, I feel, is generosity. I tend to be too generous at times thus ending up at the losing side. Still, surprisingly, I feel content and feel that I have done the right thing. This probably, shows the extent of me being generous. I tend to behave emotionally many times which makes me weak. I tend to take everything to heart and that I feel is very unique to me. I have never come across any individual that actually cares for others equally as he/she does for himself/herself.

Another quality which you might have guessed after reading the above Para is honesty. Honesty is a trait that I feel is alien to many in today?s world. Not that I am entirely honest and I do not lie, but I believe that honesty is helpful when it matters. Another resultant trait is trustworthy. I know many people who trust me and rely on me. This I believe is because I am honest enough to them.

Every person has a role model who tries to be like him. Even I am influenced by many powerful people. Although I would not like to name them, I should say they are immensely successful in their respective fields. Talking about success, success to me is not only achieving what you wanted to. It also includes achieving what people wanted you to achieve. There is a considerable difference between the two.

The one factor that drives me even in the mist of my graduate studies is the fact that I still have a long way to go. My exploration of the self does not end here. In fact I feel it won?t end till my last breath. There is so much I possess but still cannot account for it. I believe that this exercise of self evaluation will help me satisfy the three things I hold supreme in my life-

My Reason, My Purpose and My Self-esteem.

Thank you for being patient and reading this rather long intro. Do reply.
