THE BEGINNING[/b]
19th April 2006 will always remain a very special day for me. I still remember this particular day because it was the day when I came to know about Management Paradise. Some senior recommended it to me. It was nothing but a casual recommendation. “Try Management Paradise, It is a good portal for MBA students”[/b] were his words. I did not even bother to look at the website since I did not pay much heed to his advice. Few days later (I don’t remember exactly when)[/b] I was googling for some projects when I stumbled on to Management Paradise. I visited the website and registered on it. To my surprise, it was a very thriving community of MBA students like me. A few months into it and I came to know the man behind this ingenious idea of connecting MBA students across the country.
KNOWING KARTIK RAICHURIA[/b]
I still remember the phone call I made to the owner and CEO of Management Paradise, a fellow named Kartik Raichuria. It was related to a project on which I was working. There was a similar sort of project in the MP Project database but it was in the premium section. Since I had not written any posts on MP, I could not access the project. I called up Kartik (His cell number used to be displayed on the MP Portal at that time)[/b] and asked him to grant me the access. To my utter surprise he did grant me access to the premium project section. In response to his good deed I wrote a post for MP (There was no article section at MP during that time)[/b] on some financial concept. I receive a good number of responses to my post. Then I devised the concept of “Finance Made Easy”[/b] – a series of posts written to explain financial concepts in a simple manner. It was an instant hit and there was no looking back after it. Slowly I and Kartik became friends and with each passing day, our friendship keeps on strengthening.
THE TRAIL BLAZER[/b]
I became a regular contributor on MP some 6 months after joining MP. I contributed a lot of posts in various sections at MP. I uploaded hundreds of projects and documents related to management in various sections at MP. It has been such a long journey that I have lost track of my contributions to MP. But no matter how much I contributed or how much more I do contribute, I will never be able to match MP’s contribution for me. MP has been my second home for all these years. MP is one of those two websites that I browse everyday without fail. Of course there were some phases when I could not contribute much to MP especially when I was struggling to build and channelize my own career. However the point I am trying to drive home is MP was, is and will always remain a part of my life.
SOME NOTABLE CONTRIBUTIONS[/b]
Here is a list of some of my notable contributions to MP (I have written some 374 posts and 10 articles):

Stock Market Trends in India (http://www.managementparadise.com/forums/financial-management/4871-stock-market-trends-india.html)
MBA Gyaan Corner (http://www.managementparadise.com/forums/preparation-resources-general-cat-queries-info/13589-sushobhans-mba-gyaan-corner.html)

Sushobhan’s Fundoo Management Section (http://www.managementparadise.com/forums/miscellaneous-projects/11742-sushobhans-fundoo-management-section.html)
I have also contributed a lot in the forum Preparation Resource for Entrance Exams.
THE AWARDS AND THE ACHIEVEMENTS
Appreciation is something that everyone wants and I am no exception. Apart from being praised by a lot of MPites for my contributions, I have also been awarded the badge of “Finance Guru of MP”. I am also a member of the MP Gang on Face Book (It is a community where all legends of MP meet). But my most precious award and achievement in MP has been those people who read my posts and articles and trust me on my contributions. It takes a very long time to build a relationship of trust and honor. There is no award (except monetary benefits. Ok fine I agree money is very important) that can match up to this honor and trust.
SIGNING OFF
There are some instances that cannot be exactly described in words. My association with MP is one such instance. However let me end this on a very good note by stating that “Finance Made Easy – Part III”[/b] is coming very soon. Yes you have read it right I am going to revive the legendary concept “Finance Made Easy”[/b]. Till then Adios Amigos[/b].
