The above lines says it all , for the city that never sleeps .. hatts off !! to the spirit of Mumbai , the patience of surviving against all odds , and returning back to normal the very next day ..
The Economic capital of the the country was yet again in the limelight yesterday evening cos of the serial blast that happened and terrorized the country .
like other i 'll not question the government abt how it happened , why it happened , but want to salute the "aam janta" of Mumbai . who took all the pains to support and help those who were injured or even dead.
pulling up the dead bodies ,event parts of the bodies , taking the injured to the hospital , ppl in queue to donate blood , offering lifts to the strangers , the localites distributing food and water to the needy ..
and someone says "Mumbai is the rudest city " HUH!!
Anyways , today morning everything has come back to normal ..

i am not tht good at writing journals but a small tribute to the undying spirit of mumbai...

well i was at nariman point at my office wwhen i got the news of this sickening terrorist attack. well i intstantly called my dad ad my family to enquire about the well being..... well everything ok.... but what about others....:(.

i was very impressed by the spirit of mumbai as i saw it first hand when i was trying to return to my relatives place at worli cos i was not able to go to borivali cos the western line was down... so as i reached churchgate station i saw crowds at bus stops and txi stand waiting for some kind of lift..... so even if a single taxi came they would share it according to their destination.... everything was coordinated from within.. i.e from their hearts..... there was the cafe next to churchgate station who wqs helping out starnded people with tea and biscuits free of cost.... not worrying abt the amount of profit he could have earned at tht time... but well i later got to know tht the cafe manager used to help out everytime mumbai was in such a situation... well there wer rarely buses coming at churchgate and whichever came did not go beyond bombay central or dadar... even the taxis wer not available o i caught the bus which came in after 20 minutes.... to tardeo at bombay central so i caught tht bus.... well in tht bus i could see few commuters handing out biscuits to other fellow commuters. on the roads people were handing out water bottles etc..... in my bus itself all people wer just COOL i mean they wer having fun.. joking around with people who wer boarding the bus saying it was a dadar bound bus..... but all were helping out giving out their mobile phones to others to make calls to their loved ones.. etc... i was very impressed by the attitude towards life of mumbaikers cos there wer no boundaries... all were one... helping out... even during the blasts as emergency tems were not able to reach there in time... the locals and the mumbaites helped out the injured to taxis and hospitals without even thinking for a minute tht there could be othere bomb closeby.. like in borivali.... the spirit of mumbai will never die even if hell breaks loose....... SALAAM BOMBAY........
