An absolute team player, I thoroughly cherish both failures and success, and have learnt to celebrate both in life. As I strongly believe that the journey never ends, unless you say so.

A team enjoying their daily core resulting in the desired goal and objective.
3. What is your philosophy towards work?
Thing I say to everyone “If your vision is small, your efforts will look big, but if your vision is large, your efforts will look small” Gurpreet Khanna
4.What makes IESP different from other training schools?

5. Describe the change in the service sector you have experienced till date?
With Customer becoming the KING, the service sector has become more and more demanding. With increase in competition from not only local but global players has raised the Customer Satisfaction Index benchmark in various industries.
Over the years attributes such as Communication Skills, Soft skills & Grooming Standards has taken precedence over other industry skill sets.
6.Can you share some information regarding the batch profile of students in terms of gender, previous education background and work experience?
Most of our batches have an equal ratio of male & female candidates. 60% of our students are graduates and rests are either undergrads or diploma holders who aspire to be part of the growing Aviation, Retail & Healthcare industries.
85% of our students are freshers and rest are working in alternate service sector industries and wanting to switch their careers.
7.Tell us about the most fun you have had on the job?
I have thoroughly enjoyed the Personality Development trainings imparted by me to batches coming from the Ministry of Defense ( DGR) & gave me immense pleasure and learning during the process.
Every day is fun with students coming with Sweet boxes and smiles on their faces after getting their offer letters.
8. What suggestions would you like to give to enhance hospitality sector today?
The sector can be enhanced with the right & realistic inputs to students who aspire to be part of the industry, thus resulting in overall satisfaction for both employers and employees.
9. Is the Name of the Institute from where a student does his/her course is important while entering into corporate world?
It surely makes an impression on the HR knowing from where the candidate has completed his/her training, as any institutions brand value gets created over a period of good results shown.
10. Does IESP prefer any profiles of educational background and work experience to others?
We really cherish students who travel a distance or relocate themselves to Mumbai in order to get trained by us, as it shows their zeal to accomplish what they want. I truly believe that past is not an indicator of the future and thus do not prejudge any candidate.
11. Coming to placements, what is the placement process followed at IESP? What are the kinds of jobs, students at IESP have been taking up in the past three years?
The education arm of Airawat Group was earlier called Airawat Aviation Academy & was primarily focusing on students to be part of the aviation industry. Since our students undergo an airport internship as part of the course program, they have enough knowledge about the industry post their course. Our placement cell support them with interview dates with various organization or at times students get placed even before the course completes during campus placement exercises.
After finishing their course, students start their career with Airlines, Ground Handling Agencies, Airports, Retail stores at Airports etc as Guest Relation Executive, Customer Service Agents, Cargo Executives & in some cases even as Supervisors.
12. What message would you like to give to the students aspiring to working in the Retail sector?
One of the largest sectors in India today, accounting to 55% of GDP, Retail looks to be the most promising sectors to be in. However, the initial days as Counter sales and other entry-level jobs are demanding and at the same time very rewarding in terms of learning. It is imperative that you learn & observe every minute of those long standing hours & ensure you translate that into a successful career.
13. What do Corporate’s expect from professionals?
Professionals as they are meant to be, have little room for error in today’s competitive world. As there are many Young Turks going the entrepreneur way, they expect their team members to have the passion for their jobs and allegiance to the organization.
14. What piece of advice would you give to a student aspiring for a Retail Course?
Apart from the industry knowledge, students need to develop a passion for Customer Service & Sales which are the backbone of the retail industry.
15. Do you plan to introduce part time and distance learning courses at IESP?
IESP does intend to provide part time courses in Aviation, Healthcare & Retail sectors, which would help candidates to develop the requisite skill sets while they are working or persuing alternate education.
