Should the military be banned from visiting schools to promote the armed forces and recruit new soldiers, sailors and airmen?

Military is not like a corporate where they visit the schools and make pre-placement talks.I don't find any reason for military to go to the schools to boast about the job they should.Whole country knows what they are doing.Only few people have the longing desire to the join the military and very convert that dream into reality. Moreover,we also have a transparent selection process for Indian military.I dunt want our Jawans to hit a school for canvassing and I'm certain the military job cannot be performed by forcing someone to join the armed force.

About 100,000 teenagers joined the military in 2004. Nearly 57 percent of all Army, Navy, Marine, and Air Force recruits are 17 to 19 years old. That means military recruiters, or officers in charge of finding volunteers, are very interested in speaking with high school students. A law passed in 2001 says that recruiters must be allowed to visit high schools twice a year. Schools must also give recruiters students' phone numbers and addresses.
