SNARE THE SCORPIO- THE PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
Stop, stare and shoot! It’s time to take out you camera and turn on your imagination. Here comes a photography contest which tests not only the technicality of the pictures but the life in it. So set out to see and feel what the Mahindra Scorpio says to you. For what it says is a saga, which your pictures will sing for an eternity. Just cut loose and to follow your heart, it will tell you how to capture Mahindra Scorpio- “The Mighty Muscular Beast” in its natural habitat.
The event is a real-time virtual stock trading game comprising of two rounds. Participants may form a team of maximum two members (comprising of students from the same college) if they wish to compete.
Round1:
Theme: Mahindra Scorpio- “The Mighty Muscular Beast” Date: Competition begins on 1st February 2012 and entries are accepted till 6th February, 2012, 23:59:59.
Rules:
This competition is open to all.
One person participation only.
A participant must submit TWO photographs.
Photos have to be posted in Facebook page of Melange (https://www.facebook.com/melangesimsr) and link of the photo in FB must be mailed to ( [email protected] ) with the subject as: SnareScorpio_Name of Participant_College Name.
All entries should be original pieces of work- photos picked up from the Internet would be directly disqualified.
There should be no watermark or signature of participant anywhere on the photograph.
Size of photograph should not exceed 1MB.
Use of Photoshop discouraged.
This competition is open to all.

Round 2:
The 7 participants who are selected for the next round will be given a new theme for e.g. “Scorpio in jungle” and so on. The entries will be uploaded in the Facebook page of Mahindra Scorpio.
Evaluation Criteria:
i. Number of likes on Facebook (40%)
ii. Impact on the brand (30%)
iii. Relevance to the theme (25%)
iv. Creativity (5%)
RULES:
Team should consist of at most 2 members.
All the members of a team should belong to the same college.
There can be multiple entries from the same B-School.
One person cannot be the member of more than one team.
10 teams will be selected for Round 2 to be held on campus.
Details of Round 2 will be provided after declaration of Round 1 results.

PRIZES:
Winner: Rs. 7000
Runners up: Rs. 5000
All the participants of the teams selected for the second round will get certificates of participation.

Deadline for registration & submissions for round 1: 6th February, 2012, 23:59 hrs.
