SAMRIDHI
As the business leaders of tomorrow, we are responsible for the future of our communities. Socially responsible business leaders are the need of the day, and the rising number of social entrepreneurs is an indicator of the passion and conviction of our country's youth. This year, at Melange, Somaiya Social Cell launches 'Samridhi', a platform to those young future business leaders who are willing to stand up and be the change they want to see in society. If you have a business plan that could not only improve lives but is also sustainable, replicable and scaleable, then 'Samridhi' is the right place to be!
Round 1:
The B-plan must aim to resolve any social issue with a sustainable business model.
The teams have to send an executive summary which can be maximum 3 pages long (excluding cover page) in .doc/.docx format.
The executive summary should clearly outline your Social Business idea.
Financials may be embedded on the word document if needed.
Teams will email in their Executive Summary in the first round.
6 teams would be shortlisted for the final round and will be invited on campus.
Round 2:
This will be an on-campus presentation round.
Details of this round will be communicated to shortlisted teams.
RULES:
Each team can have a maximum of 4 participants.
All the members of a team should belong to the same college.
Any number of teams can apply from a college.
One person can belong to only one team.
One team can submit only one entry.
The executive summary should be submitted in .doc/.docx format.

6 teams will be selected for Round 2 on campus.
Details of Round 2 will be provided after declaration of Round 1 results.
Decision of judges is final and binding.
