Here’s a chance for all painting enthusiasts to get their creative juices flowing! Here’s a painting contest which tests not only your painting skills, but also stokes the boundaries of your imagination. So reach out to your creative side, mount your lenses and click away!
Theme of the contest: “Where Ideas Converge”
(Open only for SIMSR students)
Round1
Participants will have to send in their entries on the theme “Where Ideas Converge”. 10 best entries will qualify for round 2 who will work with creative heads to fight it out for their design on original MELANGE 2012 T-Shirts.
Participants have to register themselves for the event on MELANGE 2012 website.
One person participation only.
A single entry can submit ONE design only.
Photos have to be mailed to ( [email protected]) with the subject as: Paintmelange_Name of Participant
This is a theme open to interpretation. Entries have to be substantiated with a tagline and/or a write up explaining the association of the t-shirt design with the theme of the contest.
The selected t-shirt designs will be uploaded on the Facebook page of Melange for VIEWING ONLY. Facebook likes WILL NOT be considered as votes.
The t-shirt designs will be judged by a faculty of SIMSR.
Round 2
The qualifying contestants will be working on their designs along with the creative team and fight it out for their designs to be used as official design for MELANGE 2012 T-shirt designs.
RULES:
All entries should be original pieces of work.
There should be no watermark or signature of participant anywhere on the photograph.
PRIZES:
Certificates & prizes to be won and an opportunity to see your artwork on proudly worn by everyone in MELANGE 2012.
IMPORTANT DATES :
Deadline for registration: 25th January, 2012.
The last date for sending entry for Round 1: 5th February, 2012.
Round 1 Results: 5th February,2012
Final Round: 8th February, 2012
