A traveler on a Megabus is being hailed as a saint after he handled a shooter who shot no less than one shot on the transport, as indicated by powers.

Illinois State Police said they were canceled to the scene Interstate 90 in Des Plaines around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a shooting on a Megabus that was setting out from Chicago to Minneapolis. Police said a shooter shot a shot in the washroom of the vehicle and was later brought around travelers.

Witnesses said they heard a boisterous blast originate from a lavatory on the vehicle.

"It was genuine boisterous," said traveler Kenneth Smith. "We didn't comprehend what it was until we saw the firearm."

A man later left the lavatory and began bothering the transport driver, travelers said. One witness said it showed up the man was attempting to snatch the wheel of the transport.

Smith ventured in and advised the man to come back to his seat, yet witnesses said the man returned with a weapon.

"He returned first floor, he was getting at his hip, I had as of now seen that and I let him know he was getting excessively close," Smith said. "As he continued impending that is the point at which I hurried him, I gagged him, he tumbled to the floor, the clasp left the weapon and that is the point at which I saw it so I hauled it out, offered it to my cousin and I held him down until the police arrived."

Megabus said in an announcement that the driver pulled over and "police immediately arrived and captured the traveler."

Powers said the man did not undermine the driver, but rather was not participating with officers. State police said the suspect was taken into authority at the Des Plaines Police Department and charges are normal.
