<h2>Medical Programs 2016 announced by KIIT University</h2>

KIIT University, Bhubaneswar announced admission for Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing, Master of Science (M.Sc) in Nursing, Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programs offered in various specializations for the academic session 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for KIIT University:

For MBBS/BDS Programs:

# Candidates should have 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together for general category candidates and 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together for SC/ST.​

Candidates. Age:

# Lower age should be 17 years as on 31.12.2016 & upper age limit should be maximum 25 years as on 31.12.2016.​

For MDS Program:

# A candidate who has passed final BDS examination with completion of one year compulsory rotatory internship from a recognized Dental College, included in the schedule of the Indian Dental Council Act, 1948 will be eligible to appear for the entrance examination. Candidate should have completed the one year compulsory rotatory internship on or before 31st March, 2016.​

For MD Programs:

# Candidate, who holds M.B.B.S. degree from a recognised medical college of India or a foreign medical degree included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and who has obtained full registration either from the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils after completing compulsory rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination.​

For B.Sc Nursing Program:

# Candidates should have pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English (PCBE) with at least 45% marks in aggregate.​

For M.Sc Nursing Program:

# Candidate should be a registered Nurse or Registered midwife or equivalent with any state Nursing Registration Council.
# The minimum education requirement shall be passing of B.Sc Nursing/B.Sc Hons Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with Minimum of 55% aggregate marks.(5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates). The candidate should have undergone B.Sc Nursing/B.Sc Hons Nursing Post Basic B.Sc Nursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
# Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing.​

Selection Procedure for KIIT University:

# Candidates need to appear for entrance examinations conducted by the university for MD/MDS programs.
# Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination (KIITEE 2016) conducted by the institute for the other medical programs.​

# Last date to apply online: Monday, January25, 2016.
# Last date for downloading of admit card: Thursday, January28, 2016.
# Date of entrance exam: Thursday, January28, 2016.​

For Other Medical Programs:

# Last date to apply online: Friday, March20, 2016.
# Last date of receiving filled in application form: Wednesday, March 25, 2016.
# Last date of hosting admit card in the website: Sunday, April 05, 2016.
# Date of KIITEE: Tuesday, April 21, 2016 to Thursday, April 30, 2016.
# Declaration of result: Friday, May 15, 2016.
