Just wanted to know, is anyone aware of MDI EMP program for working executives ?? Is it good ?? Is it AICTE approved ?
:help:

Hi

EMP (Executive Management Programme) is a part-time prgramme offered by MDI and is recognized by AICTE.

Programme starts twice a year i.e. April and October.

Eligibility:
Minimum three years experience is required for this programme. You must have gone through these details on the site. Forms are also available for April 2009 batch.

The programme for me is one of the best. It offers exactly the same subjects which are being offered to full-time PGPM students, that also at a less cost . Students are evaluated with quizzes, projects, exams. So, there is very less scope to rest and more scope to learn. Faculty is excellent and is always available to help the students. Faculty is same for PGPM and EMP students.

So, if you are 3 yrs experienced and CAT is distant dream, this course is the best of all.

Thank you so much.

Got 89 %ile in CAT so planning to go for MDI EMP
I think the next batch will be starting in April.

Please tell me about the selection criteria and level of examination ??

Yes, the next batch is starting in April,2009. The examination for the batch will be on 15th February,2009.

Last date for getting the form is 5th feb, 2009.

as said in last post, 3yrs of eligibility is must and you should be working as well.

the examination structure is same as of CAT but the level is not that tough.
For Quant: Gud Basic concepts
DI is pretty easy
English: level is gud but not like CAT or any other major regular entrance.

Once you clear the test, you will be called for GD/Interview based on the number of candidates that get through.

For my batch, only interview was held.

any more doubts... keep on shooting!!! :)

Hello Everybody,

I have to appear for MDI EMP interview on coming sunday. Can some one guide me what kind of questions are being asked in interview & what should be best strategy to get in.

Regards
Manoj

The Interview will happen just for 10-15 mins and with
an obvious first question "Why MBA" ??

Then they will ask, how will you able to manage and do have time to come
for classes.

Some questions related to your company and industry as a whole.
Rest of the questions depends on your luck. :)

Best of luck
