The MCX-SX on Friday witnessed a record jump in terms of number of Currency Futures traded in a single day with a whopping 125,563 contracts. It recorded its highest volume of Rs 615.30 crores
Out of which 1,21,751 contracts were traded for the near November contract while 3812 December contract were traded with a best buying price of Rs 49.1500 and selling price of 49.4500.
Meanwhile, I,28,873 Currency Futures were traded Friday on the National Stock Exchange with a best buying price of Rs 49.200 and a selling price of Rs 49.500 as against the RBI reference rate of Rs 48.6800.
1,17,410 Currency contracts were traded for immediate November delivery while 8794 December contracts were traded with 97 best selling quantity.
