Launched in 2000, the International MBA program of the Guanghua School of Management. Offering advanced knowledge of business, leadership skills and global perspective, it now offers the opportunity to participate in exchange programmes and earn dual degrees of MBA with its partner institutions abroad.

The partners include the reputed Business Schools of National University of Singapore (NUS), ESSEC at France, Canada's York University known as Schulich School and America's University of Texas known as McCombs School of Business, which is situated at Austin. Offered in English medium, students who opt for exchange programmes can do one year of coursework in Peking University and another year of coursework in the chosen partner University.

* Admission calendar

The academic years of the Peking University is divided into two semesters:
o

Autumn semester - spans from September to January, and
o

Spring semester - spans from February to June.

There are two vacation periods in between:
o

Summer vacation is two months long. Students may opt for various summer courses during this period.
o

Winter vacation is four weeks long and usually follows the calendar of Chinese New Year.
* Eligibility criteria

International students interested in undergraduate program at the Peking University should be between 18 to 30 years of age and have a senior high school diploma or equivalent qualification. An entrance examination is conducted, including a comprehensive test comprising China's overview, Mathematics, Chinese Language and English subjects. Those interested in Science programs are tested in Physics, Biology and Chemistry and those interested in Humanities are tested in History of China.

Postgraduate applicants interested in Masters program should be under the age of 40 and have bachelors degree while those interested in doctoral programs should be under 45 years of age and have Masters degree. The entrance test for postgraduate applicants is conducted to test their knowledge of Chinese language and two specialty areas.
