9th JAN. 2016, Jaipur , The Four Day Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) Will Commence From 17th January And End On 20th January. RIFF 2016 will Screen Rajat Kapoor's 'Aakhodekhi' And Neeraj's Critically Acclaimed Film 'Masaan'. All The Film Entries Were Screened For The Jury At Chamber Bhawan today.
The Theme Of The Festival Is 'Village V/S Global Village'. The Films Focus On The Impact of Globalization On Villages. The Social Conditions Can Improve Only When The People And Circumstances Fall Into Step. Currently, Villages Have Lost Their Charm Due To Globalizations. The Role Played By The Villages In Progress Of The Nation Has Been Affected By Globalizations.
Today in RIFF Film screening at Chamber Bhawan in the presence of Jury Member Dr. Anita Sangwan, Dr. Deepak Saxena, Dr. Prabhat Sharma, Renu Singh, Himmat Singh , Ikram rajasthani, Avinash Tripathiand R.K. Sahara participated and according Jury members National and international total 474 films submitted in RIFF 2016 and 56 films will be screen in RIFF 2016 from 17-20 Jan. at Cinepolis, WTP, Jaipur.
All The Film Entries In RIFF Focus On And Deal With Everyday Human Struggles And Other Similar Circumstances. The Entries Broadly Consist Broadly Of Women Issues, Everyday Challenges, And Stories Of Turmoil And The Changing Face Of The Society.
International Documentary Film Category film "We came Home" from Afgan, US based and "Nargia-When times stop Breathing" which 16th times Screen in International Film Festival and documentary film "Black" from India and International Short Film Category film "Coudy Children" from Iran and "100 Bucks" from Namibia and "Redmption" from Ghana and Long Film Category "Qube Sugar" from Iran and Two times selected in International Asian panorama Section film "How to Steela Dog" directed by Young Thoy from Koria and Swedish Animation Film "For A Sistfull Snow, Iranian Animated Film 'Idiots, ' Sef.C.Murali' From Switzerland And India's 'Andha Vishwas' Will Be Specially Screened in Animation Film category At The Fest. Apart From India, Entries Have Come In From Brazil, Israel, France, America, U.K, Finland, Bolivia, China, Taiwan, Germany, Sri Lanka And Belarus.
Some Rajasthani Films Released in 2015 Like 'Rukma Rajasthani', Naina Ro Neer', 'Mhari Chidakali Radha', 'Mharo Badlo', 'Dastoor' And 'S.P. Choudhary Tarachand' are also in The competition RIFF Award.
