It has further plans to modernize the existing facilities and to expand its capacity by 1,00,000 units in the year 1998-99. The total production of the company will exceed 4,00,000 vehicles per year.
Maruti registered sales of 39,838 units in April 2004, up 38.4% yoy from 28,793 vehicle units in April 2003.
This includes 2,910 units of exports compared to 3,150 in April 2003, decreasing by 7.6%.
