To add flavor to the fights, corporate giants including Indian Oil and Suzlon have suggested contemporary issues to be fraught in the contests. The top team besides winning recognition from peers would also take home prizes worth lakhs of rupees. The themes suggested by corporate houses are drawn from issues that they currently face.

The event invites participation from “those who dare to sail in the unknown”, and the registrations for the mega event scheduled for 26 and 27 of November close on November 11. The annual event brings together fertile brains from some of the top B-Schools of India such as the IIM’s, IIT’s, FMS, MDI, MICA, NITIE, SIBM and several others. Rules of the games are currently being laid down by some of the sharpest brains the country has.

This year, as the theme revolves around the blue ocean, one is sure to witness the rage in the oceans like never before. The platform besides exposing students to innovative ideas provides them with an unparalleled opportunity to showcase their marketing acumen and win the glory. Crews will come across B-Schools to participate in the ultimate challenge of innovation & strategic marketing.

Teams (comprising of eight students) compete for the trophy – with the final rounds of all the events held almost one after the other in two jam packed days at the IMT Ghaziabad campus. The competition is designed to bring out the best practical solution for the issues that challenge today’s corporate world.

Numerous events designed to test shrewd marketing acumen of budding management gurus see respective teams aggressively fight to gain every single point in order to grab the coveted ‘Numero Uno’ slot. Last year a whopping 150 teams participated in the myriad of events. This year, Club MarkUp (a community organization at IMT Ghaziabad) along with corporate houses invites entries from teams on diverse subjects.

The Club MarkUp has a vision to be a student run marketing enterprise which not only provides a platform for budding marketing managers at IMT Ghaziabad but also provides real time solutions for the corporates. It works with a mission to nurture the marketing spirit at the institute, add value to the academic rigor and give the students a hands-on experience of real world marketing concepts.
