Love your country. Make it the best place to live.

Turbulace brings the best out of any personality and when the whole nation is going through a turbulant phase the emothions of nationlism and patriotism is bound to take the front sit. In a franck chat with the author, Ms. Charu Bharti, Assistant Professor at Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Delhi shares her views and experience on nationalism.

"I love my India- is what has been taught to us since our school time, when we used to scream aloud Bharat Mata ki Jai..., But When this question is asked from the inside-me, Does the Answer actually comes to Yes? Does loving your nation only means having an off from office and work on 15th August and 26th January every year? Or wearing a Cap and Flag carrying the Tricolours (Orange, White & Green). No, the patriotism does not only demands the same. Loving your country means loving it from ground sense. In this aspect, I would like to share a true experience from my life. Year 2010, Don't remember the Month, a busy NCR City i.e. Noida, the Red light had just appeared and people were waiting on their vehicles for the light to turn Green. Meanwhile, while standing on my Scooty what I noticed was a wrapper of Chocolate being dropped by a man out of the window of his luxury Car, in which he was enjoying the sweetness of chocolate with the chilled air of its Air-conditioner. In order to prevent his car to be dirty, he had just thrown the wrapper out of his car on the road. I put my scooty on stand and immediately went up, picking up the wrapper. On noticing the same with a kind of shock, as being into teaching field, I was decently dressed up and didn't seem to be a Garbage-picker, he opened the window and asked what am I doing. I answered, How can we make our country dirty, when we care so much about our car? On listening the same, apologizing, he asked me to give him the wrapper and I told him that I am picking this wrapper for you today so that you always remember to keep your city and country clean. Love your country, Love India. I love my India. Jai Hind !!! "
