Google just made an announcement on its blog confirming the Lenovo acquisition of Motorola.
When google acquired motorola, it was very evident that google is just acquiring the company for the patents that it owns which will help google defend its android ecosystem better.
Google has been selling of parts of motorola to various companies while keeping what they needed most - the proprietary patents with them.
This reminds me of the "Greed is Good" dialogue from the movie WallStreet. Purchasing a big business and then breaking it into pieces and selling it off without having any human sentiments for the employees of the company.
Do you think its the right way to do business?
