hi guys we all are management students learning to be good managers etc n blah blah blah so temme after u r education what would u prefer a job(secured fixed sal) or a business (with risks involved but freedom) ??

I'd say a job to start out with and once you build contacts and experience and people view you as an expert in something then your own business should be easier.

I may like to do a job,,, maybe because i am not so experienced after i do my m.b.a, and then ,,, after few years ,, maybe startups and all....

I think it is necessary for one to do something (business ) in life, if you have interest and passion for that...There is nothing great in retiring General Manager or Vice President of company owned by somebody...

So guys have some dream...nurture that idea and finally go for that...

Thanks

Hi , Current times are uncertain and its best to seek a fixed job salary rather than venture for a new business. The chances of success are less than 5 % yes of course if you succeed returns are greater.
Butttt regarding freedom - Boss there is more freedom in job than in business. how many people do you find in businesss who are able to leave when they want. ???
where i have been in job for more than 11 years and have been taking leaves as per my convenience more often than not. Only a few times i could not go on due to Boss's discretion. Whereas when i see my brother (who is in business), he is rarely able to go for an outing with family.

N regarding money - - Boss once you earn enough to feed yourself / your family / your basic requirements - that's it. Even if u earn 2 / 3 times that does'nt makes much difference. A job is much more secure. & you reach that security level much faster
