Isn't Amitabh too old to romance younger heroines?

I'm sick of lookin at him on every single channel.. someone stop him :( .. he competing wid d youngsters.
 
well u see tht hez romancing young actresses..but thts wht his role asks for....the sub. of the movies are such which demand tht an older actor has 2 romance a young actress..n if the filmmaker selects Mr. amitabh TO PLAY THE ROLE, y does every1 hv to create a scene of it...??

hey amitabh get sthe roel bcoz the director feels he is capable enough n he prves dem rite
n wht the prob in an older man falling in love vid a younger woman love is an emotion that can be felt at any age n its time indians accept it n kudos 2 amitabh he rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:SugarwareZ-229:

Well its not him but the directors who wants to make some money using brand name like Amitabh Bachchan. But its a sheer profession which depends on talent. if one thinks that Amitabh still has the potential to deliver, then he will definately approch him. but he is the one who has to make the decission to go or not. but right now i think he is taking all the opportunities that comes to him.
Playing against the young girls like in Nishabd is another part of his talent. that even with young generation, he is comfortable in his shoe.
 
Amitabh Bachchan is now so older.......that i can't watch him on the screen as a lead actor.....now if he wants to act in bollywood, he shud play role of father......n the selection of films he doing these dyas is very poor.........like wht he selected d films.....NISHABD & CHEENI KUM....

but he looks very odd...acco. to me....with tabu and jiah khan........

That shows probably how versatile he is. He is not scared of breaking the stereotype. Most people of his age would shy away from such roles. Even Rishi Kapoor did some love stories but with women of his age and that too with less intensity and passion. Nishabd and Cheeni Kum are movies which probably reflect the changing attitude of our society towards the age gap between two lovers.

If we look at Hollywood movies, we will also see the same trend. Older men romancing somewhat younger women. Some people say that in Hollywood only after you are 50 the real journey starts.
 
AB should take a nice long vacc...he shld take care of his health.hang his boots....Enjoy with his life long earnings.. :)
