A person can either win or lose, it is not both. When a person looses he is often seen saying winning is not eveerything. Is it said because he lost or is it a reality. Participating is very important whether you loose or win is the next question. The feeling of participation is the best feeling you can ever have even if you loose a battle it can be anything - a race, a game etc.
However it is seen that one who wins is remembered till the end. And hence this question arises is winning that important, because everyone cannot win there has to be just one winner, and if everyone fights for that place the situation is gonna be a life and death situation. Hence i believe winning or loosing is not the sole criteria that decides your competancy, but it describes your spirit of participating without the fear of loosing

Lets take an example relevant to what generally happens in India.

A student has two options, either to restrict himself to a syllabus, mug things, top exams

Or to explore things beyond academics, relate what he studies with the real world, not restrict himself to a syllabus, not mug concepts and definitions.

The one who tops in exams is a winner right ?

So is the other person, who wins in the long run because of his experience and street smartness.

But they both lose too ?

So how can it be that a person is either a winner or a looser ?

Yes, i personally beleive that winning is very important especially when today's world is all about winning. The competition in all walks of life is much intense and hence winning at all costs applies here.

evry tym winning is not impportant, even loosing to some one can teach a lot an individual.it help an individual to know his strengths n weakness nd helps him to improve his personality traits.....

what can loosing teach an individual something ? When a person he is considered a looser and nothing else..
