Generally, the web based learning or online learning was for those who were not able to travel for tutions or studies outside but now it is for all and it has become popular and essential because of the following factors: time, technology and curriculum.

Time:

Time is one of the major reason for more and more students are shifting toward online learning or web based learning. In online learning, students can learn according to their own convenience. In other words, there is no compulsion for the students to study at the particular time everyday. Students can choose the time according to their wish whether in day or night.

Save money:

One of the basic reason to start the online courses is the money. Students spend the tution fees and other expenses such as travelling from home to tution center, which increases the total amount and also leads to the wastage of time. Therefore, it is better to opt for online learning or online tutoring rather than to pay a huge amount of tution fees and spending money on other miscellaneous things.

Flexibility in schedules:

Most of the online learning centers provide flexibility in their study schedules where as in offline learning or traditional classroom learning, there are fixed schedules and students have to move according to that particular schedule. There are online courses that are highly beneficial to the students and allow the students to choose according to their own wish.

Provides focused learning:

Online learning allows the students to focus more on the topics in detail as compared to face to face learning or offline learning. In traditional classroom learning, students often lose their concentration and interest in studies due to the chaotic environment and inability of teachers to pay attention to each and every student individually. On the other hand, in online learning, the teachers or instructors overcome such situations as the graphics and images make the study interesting and use of different learning styles grabs the attention of the students. Besides this, students can clear their doubts at any time via chat, e-mails, videoconferencing etc.
