Ya, of course a brand name plays a big role in its success...
There are many laws that need to be taken care of in proper branding of a company like the law of advertising, the law of publicity, the law of expnasion, the law of contarction etc...details of which i will discuss in my further posts and threads..

Memorable and easy to pronounce
Easy to say, spell and pronounce
It should allude to the product
Negative or offensive references should be avoided.
Evoke positive mental image
Evoke positive emotional reaction
Suggest product function or benefits
Simple
Sound appropriate
Be unique
Possibly, translate well in other languages too.
 
Yes name is a very big factor in the success of a company.
It is the shortest form of advertisement for ur product or service.
It should be catchy as well so that the people remember ur company.
 
Although name is big factor...this statement is suited to only established company with brand names..but the the which started recently name doesnt matter..they quality and service is wht matter the most...its not just about name...
 
ofcourse it is!!! a catchy name or something powerful sticks in the mind of customers... it has to strike a chord!
 
Name... Suggests a lot about the Company. In todays business environment People are noted or identified by the company name. The name plays a crucial role in Business Development and long term existence. Off course the name just as it is does not do any thing though but definitely adds value to a business.
 
yes name is an important factor for the succss of the business as it suggests the innovativeness of the person, their chracteristics etc
 
The face that companies invest huge money,resources,etc. suggests the importance of how important the NAME is for a company.
