In today's world people those who are honest are kicked off, and people who are rather selfish in their work are gaining more success n achievement..
u take example of politicians.... are they dng their work honestly .. i wud say out of 100 there wud be hardly 5-10 ... wat u all say....

 
Honesty is the best policy. I think that proverb is the old one. New one should be below:
Forget Honesty and policy, today’s time is all about Money.. Honey!!
Money has replaced Honesty and Policies are only for the people with good bank balances. In today’s world every strong person is making life worse for weaker section. There are instances in present and past, where stronger countries are making weaker countries follow the path they designate.
But if so much greediness prevails in today’s world, then we would not have lived and laughed today. There are honest people, which are doing there bit to save the world. One honest person can have huge impact on many hundreds thousands human beings. People are afraid of breaking law. This makes them follow path of honesty and truth.
I am driving without license, does not mean I should go to traffic havaldar and tell the truth. May be If I am caught, I will tell the truth.. oye.. Once I am caught.. Truth does not make any sense. It is money or fine and I am out of the situation. So in this situation Honesty played important part for none. It was policy driven by money, which played important part.
 
Well i still believe honesty is more important. As we all know that wrong is wrong and if we become selfish then who will feel someone pain, who will become good friend, colleague, who will say that may i help you.
Ya today is the time of people who are selfish for whom the thing only matters is their personal benefits and this is ideal time to prove that honesty is the best policy. I think a selfish man always keep on hiding himself because he also know that what he is doing is not right despite of his good status, reputation in society but honest man face the world with more strength and confidence as he knows that he is right after facing too much problems he stick to his priciples.

We should not seek our personal benefit by hurting or troubling interests of others. We must help others and be honest in all of our activities. Ya i will not say i am honest 100% i sometime become selfish in my class when i know answer which teacher ask i sometimes don't tell it to anybody but i try to be honest and avoid such activities.

I THINK WE ALL SHOULD BE HONEST AND SHOULD HAVE TRANSPARENT HEART.
 
i think we need to be tactful in todays world...we cant be honest all the time..and we also cant be selfish all the time...
you just need to be honest with the people who are honest and smart with people who are clever and selfish...
i do believe in the concept of karma..so if i do anything wrong ..i know it would return to me in some or the other way..or may have a even stronger impact..
 
Both the terms Honesty and Selfishness are generalised here..


when you get selfish...does it imply you are dishonest ??

I think you just got to manipulate well...nobody will openely acept they are self-minded when it comes to money,pleasure or materialistic matter...

So i believe we just need to self concious...if your conscience pricks over a matter...then think its a nature's stop signal!
 
Be honest with honest people.. show them you are the boss with shrewd one's .

Generalizing never made anyone any good. The question then is how to know if someone's honest !?
 
It is not necessary to be Selfish or Portray Honesty.

It is all about being tactical during the current situation.

I hope, we need keep on mind that Whom I'm talking to, Why I'm talking to, What is my Objective in that particaular point of time or situation, How to get control over the situation or people to Grab the goal.

Its about Presence of Mind i.e. An art which is a comprehensive and fundamental rule / belief, for leading and operating yourself, aimed at continually improving self-esteem or performance over the opposites / obstacles by focusing on your Morals & Social responsibilities while addressing the needs of all other dependents (Family needs)".
