Is India effected by recession, or its just a economic slowdown!!!
What are your views....
 
Ours is not recession, it is slowdown in the growth. Things will change when US Banking system gets confidence, after toxic asset plan by obama
 
definetly the has been an impact of global recession on india, especially India foreign trade and job market has seen a significant downturn.
 
yes india is affected................ the vicious cycle started from the states, according to experts, it will last anther 2 years. Also we are stuck in a catch-22 situation, we face deflation which might not necessarily be good for a growing economy, it might affect GDP growth!
 
Due to globalization, India is part and partial of global trade. Therefore, it will be meaningless to say that India will be not affected by recession. Besides it, we can predict that due to strong banking system, saving nature of Indian people and being itself a large market for domestic production it will be less affected by recent recession.
 
recession is there but it is not so much the recession that is affecting the people but the hype created by the media that is affecting the psychology of the common man. it is a slowdown we are much more capable of handling it than most nations
 
Yes India Is being affected by the recession..... bt the fact is dat the corporates are over reacting to the situation. the Indian economy is immune to a graet extent to all such shocks!!!!
 
I agree. The world economic problem arrives to this countries. In other words there are non country that could save this situation.
