No matter how progressive the world around us gets, Bollywood will always remain a male dominated industry?

do you agree to this?
 
They say behind every successful man there is a woman. But, in Bollywood, there seems to be one too many.

From Kareena Kapoor, riding high on her '100-crore heroine' tag, to a Katrina Kaif, deemed as the latest Khan queen, actresses in the industry seem to be only too happy to latch on to the triumphs of their male co-stars even today.

Women are doing equally well in the industry these days
There are many female directors coming up ... So things are changing but slowly

BOLLYWOOD............The name when it clicks its reaction is Sharukh khan, amitabh bachan, Salman Khan, Aamir khan....I would not say its a male dominated but finally its India and ladies will soon show their NARI SHAKTI that if men can dominate so do they can....
 
Exceptions apart, Bollywood is still largely male dominated. Take a look at the technicians. How many of them are women. Except actors & choreographers not many in Bollywood are women. Only when more and more women break into other fields of cinema can we daresay that male domination is waning.
 
I think you should not be blaming men for them being excellent as technicians and other aspects. There are a lot who are in the industry but simply not as much involved as men in the technical arena.

Talking about Dominance, your point of view seems to be talking about MAJORITY being men and thereby seen as dominance. In that case, if there a women who get involved much more, then it will be a dominant force as well. A simple quotient to narrate but difficult to execute.
 
yeah i really i agree to it still bollywood is a male dominated if u see
most d films i mean 90 %u0025 of the film is actor's based only 10% of the film vl female oriented...........
 
I think we audience is responsible for this and do not blame Bollywood industry. As we are still liking and a big fan of Shahrukh Khan at 50 and that is not happened with heroines. They will disappear at their 50. In 3 Idots Aamir played a perfect role of 1 year student at 40. Tell me the number of 40+ heroines who look as fresh as 20+.
