Question: How did you prepare for the exam?
Anirudh: I was preparing for about 10 months for the MBA entrance exams. I am in final year engineering so never used to get time on the weekdays, so mostly used to study in the weekends.
Question: How many hours you used to study?
Anirudh: I used to study mostly on weekends but during the last few days before the exam I was studying for about two and a half hours every day while managing the college. I will recommend students to study little bit every day to keep you in touch with the subjects. Take care of the last few days it’s very crucial for the success.
Question: You topped General Knowledge GK section with 72/100 marks. How did you manage that?
Anirudh: I am avid reader of newspaper and reading it for last few years. I read newspapers every day and go through two to three magazines a week which helped me improved my GK. I would recommend students to go through newspapers and do questions based on current affairs to excel in GK.
Question: How did you prepared for the logic section you have topped that as well?
Anirudh: I completed study package I had for the logical ability section which was sufficient enough to get the hang of the logical section. I would advise students to do all different types of questions possible
Question: Should students join coaching classes?
Anirudh: Joining classes is individual decision. I joined a premier coaching institute and it was pretty helpful. Enrolling in a coaching institute obviously helped me on what to study, the areas to focus on etc.
Question: What was your experience with online CMAT exam?
Anirudh: It was a decent experience. However few questions were wrong in the paper. I will recommend students not waste time on the wrong questions. If you feel a question is wrong move on rather than spending too much time on that.
