INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH CONFERENCE 2013 (IRC 2013)
Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) is organizing ‘International Research Conference 2013’ on 7th – 8th of March, 2013 at The Oberoi, Nariman Point, Mumbai. The IRC 2013 Conference Committee welcomes visionaries, the academia and corporate professionals to submit research papers broadly exploring the conference theme.
This year, the theme for the International Research Conference, 2013 is ‘Nurturing the Present, Innovating the Future’ wherein participants are expected to pioneer and propose sustainable yet revolutionary models in the fields of Finance, Marketing and General Management which are capable of providing performance oriented solutions. For businesses, mere survival is not sufficient; demanding economic conditions ask for nurturing the business world through cutting-edge strategies for enabling them to capitalize on the emerging growth opportunities.
The aim of the conference is to provide a rendezvous for researchers, test developers, university representatives, consultants, management students and policy makers from around the globe to exchange ideas, meet fellow researchers working in diverse fields and generally help resolve the problems faced by the corporate world. The innovations in practices of business need to be tested on many grounds such as legal, political and social apart from economic development norms. Researchers and academicians with their research try to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
Research papers are invited for all functional areas of management related to the conference theme. The submissions may be completed research, research in-progress or case studies, especially those reflecting innovative sustainable practices. All submissions will be reviewed on the basis of relevance, originality, significance, soundness and clarity. At least two referees will review each paper under a double-blind peer-review process. Generally, the selected presentations will consist of a panel of three or four presenters. During the conference, each panel will speak for fifteen minutes and then the floor will be opened for questions and discussions.
