Indians love Cricket But What About Other Sports

We Indians are CRAZY ABOUT cricket. We eat cricket, drink cricket. We are neglecting other sports. We are not able to get the Olympic gold medal more than one. Our population has reached 1.216 billion from the latest census and still we are bottom in the sports. The government as well as businessman spends investment on cricket only neglecting the other sports. Cricketers are living a life of kings and royals but the other sportsmen who play football and Hockey live the life of beggar. I do not understand the governments view about the sports. people who are not related with the sports are becoming president and secretaries. Union Minister Mr. Sharad Power is the President of BCCI as well as ICC what the hell He is doing in Cricket. He is a minister of Agriculture and In India Maximum numbers of farmers are suicides and he is busy in cricket. When will we Indian are realized about the Importance of Other sports as well as Sportsmen. I have heard about lots of former sportsmen like footballer and gymnastic person are homeless and No money for food. The Businessmen who are Giving Endorsements to the Sportsmen are only consider the cricketer only They are neglecting the other Sportsmen. Shahrukh Khan Played Hockey in the movie and won Best actor award and in real life situation he opted for Cricket and became the owner of a cricket team. So, In India everyone is Selfish. Everyone wants to earn money neglecting the responsibility of a citizen. People from other countries are laughing on us for Our achievement in Population and Zero growth in other sports and other fields.

Indians have a deep and abiding love for cricket, a passion that transcends age, gender, and social strata. The sport has been woven into the fabric of Indian culture, with matches often serving as national events that bring the country to a standstill. However, while cricket remains the undisputed king, there is a growing interest in other sports that are beginning to capture the imagination of the Indian populace. Sports like football, badminton, and kabaddi are gaining traction, thanks in part to the success of Indian athletes on the global stage. For instance, the rise of stars like P.V. Sindhu in badminton and the increasing popularity of the Indian Super League in football have helped to diversify the sporting landscape. Additionally, the government's initiatives, such as the Khelo India program, aim to promote a wider range of sports and nurture young talent. Despite these developments, cricket continues to dominate, but the enthusiasm for other sports is a positive sign of a more diverse and dynamic sporting culture in India.
