Indian National Rally Championship - Riders fromBengaluru city left with the main three spots in the MRF 2W Rally of Coimbatore.
K P Aravind of TVS Racing developed as the overall winner of the bike rally the second round of the MRF MOGRIP FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship 2015. R Nataraj additionally from the same group from Bangalore completed second while V S Naresh completed third.
Aravind and Nataraj are viewed as the best bike rallyists in the nation as of now, said coordinators.
Onlookers on Sunday cheered as the two men vanquished the soil streets stretching their machines as far as possible. The occasion saw 38 passages crosswise over different classes.
"Two-wheeler rallying is definitely as exciting, if not more, than the four wheeler category. There was a good crowd in to cheer the racers as their motorbikes zoomed past each laps," said Coimbatore Auto Sports Club secretary J Prithiviraj.
"Also there were no accidents on the track during the event. As many as 32 competitors finished the rally and six competitors dropped out due to mechanical failure," he said.
The event was flagged off in the morning by mayor P Rajkumar from Andal Kalyana Mandapam on Trichy Road in the city, which was likewise the completing point.
Speaking to reporters after the event, Aravind said "The terrain was enjoyable and at the same time challenging". Venu Ramesh Kumar runner-up in another category said that "The tracks were very smooth and fast. The organizers were very professional in handling the event,"
