India, Singapore’s close ASEAN partner

Mumbai: India has been titled as the close ASEAN partner by Singapore by outlining the importance of bilateral ties and aims to enhance the socio-economic conditions between the two countries. “Business and trade relations between the two countries are on a constant increase and there is further growth scope,” said the Singapore Prime Minister, Lee Hsien Loong.

The decision was disclosed during the end of India’s External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid’s three day visit in Singapore. “During the visit, views on security and economic outlook for Asia-Pacific region and on improving bilateral relation and trade-investment opportunities were discussed,” shared Khurshid.

The countries through the recent initiatives aims to enhance the economic links and accelerate the investment potentials in different infra sectors.
