its definately a boon..its our money after all dats been spent on us...for our welfare...surely it does fill d minister's pockets but not to 4get our economy s growing

Income Tax is not a curse.You have to pay income tax for the welfare of the country.Since we are utilising country's resources like road,rail,water we need to pay income tax for the society.Moreover,the people in Military and Police draw their salary only from the money which we pay for the country as a tax.Moreover for the development of the country every responsible citizen should pay Income tax.

Great guys!! Good to see the responses but i am not convinced.... can u list down some of the benefits of paying taxes???
A layman feels why should he pay his hard earned money to the Govt, especially when there is so much of corruption everwhere!!

ITS A BOON FOR SURE BECAUSE W EDO NOT HAVE O CARE ABOUT EVERYTHING.WE GET SECURITY INFRASTRUCTURE EVERYTHING FORM THE MONEY WE PAY AS TAX.WELL DUE TO CORRUPTION THOUGH THERE HAS NOT BEEN 100% POSITIVE IMPACT

Can't say... In true sense, it is the income of our country which should be utilised for its betterment. But corruption is so much involved that such income directly goes into the pockets of inefficient and corrupt officers.

It is boon for the people who are living below the poverty line and are able to obtain the facilities from the Efficient government which makes good use of the funds obtained as Income tax.

It is a effective way for taxing high income group people and distributing it to low income group. It is a curse for the middle class people as the facilities they obtain in lieu of the tax they give are somewhat unbalanced.
