IIM-A Chaos 2013 brings Harley Rock Riders Season IV to Ahmedabad !

On 31st August 2013, IIM-Ahmedabad will come alive with one of the biggest rock parties of the year, the Harley Rock Riders Season IV. The event, being organized in association with Chaos 2013 - the annual cultural festival of IIMA, will see new and old rock bands setting the stage on fire with their expression of freedom.

Happening across six cities throughout the country namely, Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Delhi and Mumbai, the Harley Rock Riders is the annual rock music festival of Harley Davidson. IIM Ahmedabad is proud to be the first and only campus in India to be hosting the event and will join Harley Davidson in celebrating their 110 years of freedom.The grand national tour kick-started on the 8th of August and aims to invite Indian Rock musicians of all experience levels and give them a platform to express their freedom and participate in the "Find your Freedom" contest, where the winning band stands an opportunity to perform at the World's biggest bike festival - European Bike Week 2014.

The event is being organized as a precursor to Chaos 2013 -Asia's biggest B-School culturalextravaganzawith its spectacular amalgamation of a myriad of cultural events and heart stopping performances. With over 50,000 footfalls every year, Chaos attracts crowds from all over the country to take part in over 50 events. The crowd can look forward to a similar scintillating performance during this year's Chaos, slated to be organized from 26th-29th December, under the Blizzards of Rock banner where semi-pro rock bands from across the country compete for the coveted Blizzards of Rock title.

The Harley Rock Riders in IIM-A would not only see the likes of well-known bands like BLEK and BLAKC performing, but also a riveting performance by IIM-A's very own rock band. BLEK, an alternative rock trio from Mumbai, have been enthralling audiences since 2010 and were also one of the winners of the RayBan Never Hide Sound talent hunt. BLAKC, also from Mumbai, has been composing their own music since 2007 and earned the reputation of being one of the best Hard Rock bands in the country.

With over 70 Harley Davidson's from the Harley Rock Riders Club scorching the campus, and three sizzling rock performances, the event is set to send heart beats soaring.On 31st August, the Ultimate Expression of Freedom will indeed find another!
